I have been painting for many years and played with mixing colors. Your book makes it easy, you have already done the work.
Overall, I really enjoyed this color palette PDF. The strongest part for me was the visual presentation. The photographs, graphics, and color combinations were beautifully done, and I found myself drawn to the booklet because of how inspiring the images were. The layouts were attractive, and it was easy to see how the artist used the colors within her own work.
As a more advanced painter, I was already familiar with many of the mixes presented, so I would have loved to see a broader range of color recipes and applications. The mixes included seemed carefully selected to support the artist's specific painting style, which was helpful, but I think the guide could be even stronger if it explored additional subjects and color challenges.
For example, I would have enjoyed seeing more mixing options for different skin tones, as well as colors for painting animals such as dogs and cats, and perhaps a wider variety of subjects in general. Expanding the range of examples would make the guide useful for an even broader audience of artists.
That said, the visual quality of the booklet is excellent, and the images alone make it an enjoyable and inspiring resource.
For portraiture I have found the colour mixing guides have helped me more confidently mix skin tones. I will use these a lot to build my confidence and avoid the hit and miss approach to colour matching.

ITS REALLY NICE TO SEE ANOTHER ARTISTS APPROACH TO COLOR MIXING -- SOME ARE VERY USEFUL BUT ONE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE ARE THE MIXTURES TO ARRIVE AT SUNSETTING AT VARIOUS TIMES OF THE NEARING DUSK -- BETWEEN 4:00PM AND THE MOMENTS BEFORE FULL SETTING - THAT IS A CHALLENGE. PLUS THE EFFECTS OF THIS LIGHT ON CLOUDS!! THATS A GREAT NEW SET OF COLOR MIXTURES!!! THANKS FOR ASKING LOS
