"Rainy City Reflections" captures the electric poetry of a city after the rain — where lights shimmer, colors deepen, and the streets turn into mirrors. The painting is created with bold, textured brushstrokes and expressive palette-knife marks, layering cool blues and smoky teals with glowing ambers, golds, and flashes of crimson. The reflections stretch and dance across the wet pavement, creating movement, atmosphere, and a cinematic sense of depth.
I was inspired by the contrast between cool rain-soaked air and warm city lights — that moment when everything feels alive, luminous, and full of story.
A natural wooden frame is, in my view, the ideal finish to enhance its warmth and give the artwork a strong, modern presence.
Original painting on high quality canvas, painted with oil colors. Palette knife was used to shape painting’s texture and make it tridimensional.
All my paintings are coated with 2 layers of varnish in order to protect the painting from dust and UV rays, you can clean it with a damp cloth or dust with dusting feather.
Painting is shipped in a cardboard tube or box, depending on the option you choose, with FedEx or UPS and it’s insured against lost or damage during transport.
